Does anyone know how tight the action screws are from the factory? I recently skim bedded the stock and tightened the screws to 65inlb it does have a h.s precision stock on it and my groups have opened up bad. Any help would be appreciated. I can't figure out why my groups got so bad.

First try backing the torque off to 35 in/lbs and shooting a group then after cleaning, go to 40 in/lbs
and shoot another group. Watch your groups and as long as they are improving, increase the torque
in 5 in/lb increments not to exceed 60 in/lbs.

Be sure and clean between every group to give the rifle a chance and to make every test the same.
(As barrels foul groups can change and invalidate the test).

You may have to re bed it if you tightened it to soon (I let my rifles set in the bedding 2 to 4 days
before I torque the action)to that much torque.

Are you using the same load? When you bed an action, you stiffen the rifle system, which can change your barrel harmonics quite a bit. Your rifle may not be in tune with the old load. If you are not reloading, try different loads. If you are reloading work up a new load. There are many things that could be going on. For example, when you bed a rifle you take parts off and on. You may just have forgotten to tighten a scope mount screw. Things can get missed. I have never had a bedded rifle get worst accuracy, I had one that didnt get any better. Just saying I think you have an issue that can be worked out.

I agree with J E Custom, good advice, but I would find a load that your new rifle system shoots first, then tune the action to that load. I personally like a tight front action screw (50-65 inch/lbs). Then adjust the rear action screw. Tune the load to the rifle, then fine tune the action to the load.

what made you bed it... was in not shooting well from the factory...?

Got to come clean guys after some pondering on how I thought I destroyed my stock and took a good shooter and wrecked it I stepped back and thought about what could be wrong. I looked at my load data and saw that I loaded to the wrong coal. (cannot believe that I did that) I have not had a chance to shoot it yet. What made me bed it was that some times I over think and get hyper focused on accuracy. Probably dint need to but I get a little OCD sometimes. Was shooting just over 1/2 moa.
