1-1/16" Barrel Nut, 20 threads per inch.
Measured it off of a stock Savage Barrel with the same dimensions of the barrel on the rifle.

Good Questions, without pulling the barrel from the action. This would make getting an accurate measurement extremely difficult. I'll throw a micrometer on it today to give you an idea of what the barrel nut measures. In the mean time, this info might be sourced by checking Savage's website or somewhere on this site. Surely, someone has built a semi or custom off of one of these actions in the past on here. Thanks for your patience.

They were trying to ask you if it was large shank or small shank. It looks like large shank to me, and as far as I know all savage wsm stuff is large shank from the factory. Hopefully this helps you. Probably late though. Haha
