Savage 11 Prarie Dog Question

So i was at cabelas today and looking for a cheaper varmint rifle. I came across this savage 11 prarie dog in 22-250 and cabelas has them on sale for $419. It comes with a 22" heavy barrel and the accutrigger but the stock is complete crap and flimsy as hell! I am looking for a replacement but would like to stay with a sporter style stock and not a varmint or varmint thumbhole style and just trying to keep it as light as possible. The rifle also does not have a DM or bottom metal and just has the internal box centerfeed. Anybody have any recommendations?
