Beautiful Sako AV rifle with original Sako box. Trigger is amazing (& easily adjustable), wood grain is top notch. Rifle equipped with Sako opti-lock extended bases & a muzzle brake. I'll post some better pictures asap - thought I had more on my phone. One tiny little handling imperfection on stock you can kinda see in one of the pictures. Rifle has been shot exactly 10x.

Sako didn't keep records of manufacturer dates, but this has the newer trigger so my best guess is early to mid 1980s

I would buy it but current issue with wife. May not be best idea. I'm also kinda scared to ship it. I've seen rifle boxes lately show up with barrel sticking out. If things work out. I might make the 9hr drive if he wants to meet.

Dealing with the wife might not be worth the issues, lol. Traveling? That works! I've had good luck shipping rifles but I tend to "over box" them to avoid damage. Soft case in bubble wrap or a double box, or hard case... regardless, it gets expensive to ship. The last I shipped cost me $130 because of size and weight. That rifle may be worth any or all of the above. Nice one & it's an AV!!

My wife sets a one gun/quarter limit unless I sell one. I've shipped 20+ rifles & never had an issue with any of them arriving, but you're right it's also $100+ when you package them correctly.
