This is a Custom made for me Sako AV 338-06 with a Bartlein barrel. It is a heavier barrel, I am a big guy so carrying around the gun is no problem for me and it is balanced well and holds an off hand zero steadier for me than my lighter guns. It consistantly shoots a .5 inch or less group with the barnes 225 and 210 TTSX and the 200 Accubond.
The scope is not for sale with the gun.
The reason I am selling is I have a Sako 42 and a Sako 85 300 win mag for long range shooting and honestly have too many guns and no space in the safe. I also have a 300WM Sako AV for sale as well separately.
If you are not familiar with the 338-06 research it, it packs an awesome punch in a small package. You will be surprised by the ballistic performance behind just 50 grains of powder.
Also selling once and twice fired brass. Will send my recipes and targets I have shot with it so if you can have a head start on your own development.
I have 1700 dollars invested. Selling for 1000.00 OBO.
