I have a Ruger M77 MKII, it is completely stock aside from a trigger job which has taken it down to 2lbs and perfectly crisp, and I have floated the barrel. It's .223 and shoots .25" groups with my handloads.

I hear a lot of bad things about rugers, but I've never actually seen a bad one or met someone who had a bad one.

Also the stainless rugers do not rust, unlike stainless remingtons, brownings, tikkas etc.

my m77 well hold 1/2 moa out to 500yds if i do my part thats the farthest i've shot on paper it has a 26 in hart barrel mcmillian stock and a timneytrigger set at 1 1/2 lbs and has had the actiontrued
