I am wanting a rimfire can. Mostly be on a 22lr rifle and pistol. I want it to work on 17 and 22 wmr which from what I can tell most do work for all. My problem is I need opinions on which one. There are to many options. I've thought about the otter creek labs and the occulus that can be ran short or long seems handy. I'm open to others. Analysis paralysis at this point. Thanks for any advice

I have the AAC Halcyon and love it. I bought it as it was engineered to have the least 1st round pop and be the quietest overall. It lives up to all of it.

I really like my Dead Air Mask. Works well with my .22 and .17 HMR rifles and Ruger Mark IV. Would for sure buy it again.
Question on it same issue with occulus. Some people say you have to be more careful cleaning the stainless can versus just filling the titanium cans with clr. Any truth to this in your opinion?

I hadn't looked at it. I see it's made to set up sorter also. How's the sound when it's shortened?

I have several of them. Different brands.
It's not hard to make a std velocity or subsonic 22 quiet. Dont overthink it. They all work good.

I have a dead air mask and two sparrows. Performance wise they are about the same. For ease of cleaning I think the sparrow is easier. I've used both on 22 LR, 22 WMR and 17 HMR.

I just got a DA Mask and a TBAC Takedown. None of my 22s are threaded but those two were the highest talked about. When I get around to getting a rifle I'll be able to report back.
