Thanks. I usually pass on sows these days unless they are causing me a problem. However, big boar hogs, like coyotes, are always on my radar, especially a boar that's bumping my tripod feeders - cause that just ain't right.Yes, Sir! .280 brings home the BACON!!!:D
Very Nice!
We feed year round and generally we've been pretty lucky with the bumping feeder thing over the years, but every now and then we encounter a hog, almost always a big boar, who just can't help himself. We hang a trail camera to determine the guilty party and specifically hunt it until it's gone. Here's a nice boar I took yesterday morning in our hay pasture.Nice one. Glad to see him resting peacefully.
I can relate about the feeder issue. Very annoying for feeders w/o a pen around them.
Why pass on the baby pig makers? I'd think you'd want them all dead? Thanks. I usually pass on sows these days unless they are causing me a problem. However, big boar hogs, like coyotes, are always on my radar, especially a boar that's bumping my tripod feeders - cause that just ain't right.
