Sold pending funds to psdan

For sale is my Remington VSF in the timeless .308 caliber. The VSF was a one year only model produced in 2005. The rifle was shot very little. I have the same in .223 and love it. When I saw this it was a bit of an impulse buy. I have shot it less than 20 rounds and my pet load of RL15 and 168gr A-Max produces .5 MOA groups off my bench. 26" CM fluted barrel, HS palm swell stock (same as the 5R rifles have) $950 plus actual shipping to your FFL from a private party. Rifle only and scope mounts only. Scope is not for sale, and outright sale only.

Thank you Buckfever I am humbled and appreciate that.

Quite a few have asked for bolt face pictures so here they are for the group. Again I purchased the rifle from the original owner. He and I patron the same dealer in our area so I know the history. Thanks everyone for the inquiries. This LLR group is super!

I had plans to build a light weight 308, but this is tempting. What is the weight without the scope?

Im kind of attached to them but I could send some "stool" with the rifle. But it would be from my Golden Retriever 😀. Thank you for the fun note and the bump!

I have this exact same rifle. I had no idea it was only made for one year. I love mine and have had a lot of fun with it. Incidentally, I put a Nikon Tactical 4-16 X50 SF M Mildot scope on it - another thing that isn't made anymore.

I've been asked by a few interested parties for close ups of any wear areas. There really aren't any as I've described. But as we know pics are worth many words….
