I am posting this for my brother. He is interested in selling this Remington 700 Sendero in 300 Win Mag. He bought it used 2 years ago. He then had a Defensive Edge 3-port brake added to the muzzle and a 2# trigger job done. He then had a Defensive Edge Cheekpiece installed along with Defensive Edge two piece base/rings with a 20 MOA cant.

To my knowledge, he shoots 200 grain Nosler Accubonds over the top of H1000. This is the only load that he has tried. He hasn't tried any others because this load shoots under an inch and is accurate enough for him.

The rifle is one of the older Senderos that has the more traditional HS Stock without the palm swell.

As I previously stated, he bought the rifle used, so there is no saying on a definite round count. However, he has shot about 300 rounds down the barrel. I estimate there are no more than 600 rounds through the barrel.

Overall the rifle is a wonderful rifle....now the downside...the rifle has something wrong with the magazine box. After a while, the magazine box gets crooked and it will no longer feed several times. Once the box goes "cockeyed" it effectively becomes a single shot. Typically, it's only a matter of taking the stock off and straightening the box out; however, this can be a pain sometimes. I haven't lookd at it closely to see if a new magazine box would fix the problem but I'm sure the problem is simple.

Rifle+Bases for $1100

Rifle+Bases+Scope for $2450

I him-and-hawed about the pricing. If you feel that it is unreasonable, let me know and I will discuss it with him. The only reason he is selling is because I bought a 338 Edge and after he shot it, he wants one too.

If you have any questions, feel free to text him a 208-704-7091 or PM me and I will play middle man with the information.

Forgive the pictures. The gun is fairly dirty, as it is still being used for coyotes and such.

5.5-22x50 with the npr1. No zero stop and the "slow speed" turrets. It's a wonderful scope. Shows a little wear on the turrets and eyepiece.

Re: Remington Sendero 300 Win Mag

It weighs about 12lbs. If you need an exact weight, I can get one this afternoon.

Re: Remington Sendero 300 Win Mag

real nice rifle. Is the chamber throated for bergers by chance or just what your brother was shooting. that one has potential.

Re: Remington Sendero 300 Win Mag

It hasn't been throated for anything specifically just a standard Remington chamber. He's never shot bergers to my knowledge. Just ballistic tips and accubonds.

Re: Remington Sendero 300 Win Mag

I got the same gun,caliber, muzzlebreak. I'm shooting 185 bergers-0.25" 5 shot groups 200 yrd zero.
Free bump for a good one!

Re: Remington Sendero 300 Win Mag

FYI, I replaced the magazine box with a different one and the magazine cycles perfectly now. BUMP
