Whats the difference between the tact 5r and the milspec? I'm looking around at some 223's and came across the tactical 5r on buds, but I'd like to know how it compares to the milspec?
In my research I've been looking at the Ruger Amer Predator (1:8 huge bonus) and rem 700's. I found an ADL 223 at walmart for $390, thought about just re-stocking it but if I can get a better overall platform plus a decent stock under $1k I just might pounce.. perhaps an SPS tact, SPS varmint, any lv/sf, police, milspec...etc. No savages on this trip, and I haven't decided if tikkas are in or out on this one. Must be 1:9 or faster.
