Is there something off with the blueing on the bolt handle?

That's a beauty....
The discolored bolt handle had something to do with the bluing process..that brown tinted bolt tells ya that it the older mtn rifle...have had 3 of them...great lightweight rifles...
Where might this one be located?

Thanks for the note guys. 26Reload is spot on. I have had and have many Rem 700s and have seen the "purple" bolt many times. Older Leupold gloss scopes have a similar tendency

The stock grain on this rifle is very attractive

I had the 280 that had been rechambered to 280ai.....sweet rifle....
Still have same receiver...different barrel..different stock...different trigger...
Been ceracoated....
Does that make it a different rifle???
