Remington 700 223 sps tactical action, with Badger knob and 45moa base. Timney Calvin Elite trigger.
Stockys LRC vertical grip, original, not carbon fiber. In kryptik highlander, with Wyatts M4 bottom metal and 2 10rnd magazines.
Bartlein 28" fluted 8 twist varmint contour, chambered in 223 Ackley, less than 300 rounds fired.
Looking for $1250 for an awesome trainer rig.

What's the maximum COAL for magazine operation?

Didn't save any targets from that one, I don't believe, I'd have to check. The load was 75grn ELDMs touching the lands, in fireformed LC brass, 29.6grns of PP2000MR, and CCI 450s. It averaged 3220fps and hovered around 3/8". Good for steel out to 1100yrds. Topped out over 3300 with 30.7grns, not because of excessive pressure or damaging brass, but because the firing pin hasn't been bushed, and it was starting to crater pretty bad. You could probably catch one node higher, if the bolt was bushed. There's still 3/8" of room in the mags, with the load I used. Only selling because I'm putting a 7 twist throated for 85.5s on an Origin.

Thanks for the information, that's moving pretty quick for that 75gr bullet. I'm running a 26" 7 twist with the 85gr Berger @ 2900-2950 depending on which powder I use (Varget or RL-17)? Those are great bullets for steel or hunting. I built my rifle off a Ruger American action and running it as a single shot with 2.622 COAL. Have taken it to 1769yrds. Looking at adding another one to my stable so I can have family compete side by side with similar ballistics. I am very tempted with your set up.

Have you tried the 85gr Berger out of this barrel?

It definitely has the room in the magazines. It needs about .050 more freebore for the 85.5s, but using PP2000MR or RL17, and running them over 3k, they should shoot fine in a 8 twist, but I don't know, I haven't tried them.

More pictures.
