I am selling this rifle for a good friend so he can find glass for his new Havak on the way. This is a good shooting gun, he just got bored and wanted to play with something new.

Very nice, custom Remington 700 XCR Tactical Long Range 300 Win Mag with Vortex Viper PST 6-24x50mm first focal plane scope. Rifle has been Cerakoted FDE and Black, scope has custom Kote to match the green with black speckle stock. Timney flat trigger was installed about 7 months ago. Scope just came back from Vortex and all the internals are like new again. Only selling to fund high end glass for his new rifle.

The only trades he said he'd consider would be for a nice scope to put on his new rifle. Lighter weight.

$1600 obo

Xcr is the model with the triangular profile barrel-- right?
No, that was the VTR (Varmint Tactical Rifle)
The XCR Tactical is a beefed up version of the XCR line or a mating of the XCR with the tactical line. Better stock built for more long range shooting, 416 stainless steel black TryNyte coated Cylindrical barrel with triangular fluting like on the LTR police rifles. Appears OP had cerakote added too. Barrel should be 26" from the factory which appears to be same as his.
There is a first Gen XCR in 30-06 for sale here too, you can definitely see the differences if you view them side by side… both excellent rifles.

According to the bathroom scale the scoped rifle weighs 11.2 pounds. I'll get it on the post office scale at work today to be sure, but this should give y'all an idea.

That is correct. The Gen 2 Mil Spec had the same barrel, it's what I have on my 260. Those are Schneider barrels made in Breckenridge, Texas that came from an overrun.
