I have a 700 factory 300 Win with the factory detachable box magazine. I am using the gun to build a 7-300win. I want a new stock for the build but want to keep the detachable box magazine. The barrel is going to be a shilen 5 contour select match 28". I am having troubles finding stocks with the cut out for the clip. And im not sure which style to get that the shilen 5 contour will fit in nicely.
I could get a hs stock and file the notches out? But I was told that would ruin the rigidness of the stock.
Any help or suggestions are appreciated
