Rem 700 action bolt

I can get a Rem 700 300Win Mag.
Can my gun smith open up the bolt face and make it work for a 338 Lapua?
My gun smith told me to call Shawn Carlock so I left a message.
Are there any other issues I will have to deal with?Extractor?

Yes it can but I would talk to your gunsmith. Sako type or mini m-16 style extractor. I would go 338 ultra it just makes more sense

I have axis to a 300Win Mag action
