I was going to sell this as a barreled action but i had a factory Rem stock and trigger laying around so i put it together so it can be shot. It's a
Rem 700 VLS action thats been trued, a 24" 8 twist douglas #4 stainless air gauge match Barrel, factory rem adl stock and trigger. I have 50 pieces of fired formed Winchester brass and a Redding FL die set that will go with gun. Gun will shoot 1/2 inch groups with 87 Vmaxes @ 3350 and 95 Nosler BT @ 3250. I built this as a coyote gun never worked up a load with any of the 105's. Gun has around 250 rounds through it with fire forming, load work up and shooting yotes and steel out to 600 yards. $1000.00 from me to your FFL. Feel free to contact me 918-916-1175. Thanks

Just asking, but I don't believe this is a true Ackley Improved. I say this because you have Winchester improved dies.
if you have the .243 Ackley Improved, the shoulder-body section will measure .460″ dia. the .243 Winchester Improved, the shoulder-body section will measure .455″ dia. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

The die box says Win Improved 40deg. That is not an AI unless Redding is being sloppy with their labeling.

This is from an AS article-

Different Reamers, Different "Improveds"

One thing that you need to watch for is what version of the .243 Improved that you have. This depends, for the most part, on whose reamer you will be using for the chambering of your barrel. It is easy to determine if your .243 Improved is the .243 Ackley Improved, or the .243 Winchester Improved. If you have the .243 Ackley Improved, the shoulder-body section will measure .460″ dia. at this point. If you have the .243 Winchester Improved, the shoulder-body section will measure .455″ diameter at this point. Both cartridges have the 40-degree shoulder. I have used both versions and found that you can use any data developed for either version interchangeably.
