Just ordered some 143GT hammer hunters to try in the 280 Ackley. I love this caliber. I hope the hammers will work on hogs. We snipe them from a mesa shooting down across s hay field. Ranges from 200 to 750 ads. Been using Barnes TTSX's, & Sierra hollow points.Fo

Sounds greatI'm in the process of building a 280AI. I've got several brands and weights of 284 bullets. The HH 120 and 131 have shot well in 7RM. The 120's were loving H4350 and pushing 3500 fps without any pressure signs.
That's awesome. Awaiting on mine to show up so I can work up a load in June when my eyes Doctor says I can go back to shooting. Re all looking forward to trying them. They will probably replace my Barnes TTSX that I' m nearly out of.280AI have great success with 143HH bullets . 59.2gr RL23 petersen brass 215 fed primer 26" 1:9 twist 3260fps no pressure signs.
