Besides good light transmission, what other features are you looking for and how much do you want to spend?

I am looking for something with good light transmission, with a low magnification of 3 or 4 and a maximum of 16-25, side paralex adjustment, 30mm tube, 50 or 56mm objective if objective makes that big of a difference. And would like to stay around a $1000 or less.
