recoil pad

i have a Sendero with a laminated stock. i want to replace the recoil pad. How do i remove the old one? it seems to be really glued on and i don't want to ruin the stock. any suggestions would be appreciated.

I could be way off here but I think your recoil pad is screwed on not glued. If your looking at the end of the recoil pad use your thumb and rub the pad with some force at the outer 1/3 of the top and bottom (gun orientated as your shooting it). You should discover a slit on the top and bottom. A total of 2 slits for 2 screws (one top and one bottom). Use a Phillips head screwdriver and insert it in the slits you should be able to feel the screws.
