recoil lug alignment tool for savage?

Are the recoil lug alignment tools the same for savage and remington? I understand the difference between tapered and straight but not sure about the size for savage. Thanks

All Savages I have changed barrels on have a pinned recoil lug. Not sure about Stevens, etc.

none of mine are pinned. The action has the detent for the pinned lug. Mine look like this

If your action has the detent, then I would just get a pinned lug. My factory actions had the detent and the factory lug had the pin. I don't know when they started pinning them.

All of my older savages had the pins and detents. When I spun the barrel off of my new LRH it had the detent but no pin in the lug. When I ordered my barrel from NSS they said to just use a pinned lug. Already had a ptg laying around so it got it.
