Quick Loads

Using Quick Loads for a 7mm-08 150gr eldx . I want to use H414 and 44.5grs. QL tells me that it is 59000 psi. Looked in my Hornady book for the same load and it says max is 48.3grs. When input that in QL says it is 73000psi. That is a huge pressure difference. Kinda lost!!

Nosler and Hodgdon both showing 46 ish max, check brass capacity, primer type and seating depth . Then verify your quick load inputs. Hodgdon lists there load info on line for free always good to use more than one source and ask questions if things don't line up. Contacting the tech dept buy phone can also be very helpfulful… sure miss Dave Emary and all his guidance from Hornady.

I just checked Speer and it is 46 also. I am sorry I didn't think to check the load data from the different manufactures. Thanks for the correction.

Well, you did the right thing by asking questions whenever you have doubt ask, contact the manufacturer technical support personnel. They're usually quite helpful and extremely knowledgeable. Always better to be safe than sorry.
