Probably the wrong place to ask.If so I apologize....How does one determine how much fired brass is worth? I'm talking 45-70 brass..I hate to give it away.So some idea would be welcome....John:cool:

If it's once fired factory brass you can probably figure it's worth about 70% of whatever new brass is running.

45-70 is not a high pressure load so the brass tends to last a long time unless someone is handloading it hot. If they are the pressure signs will be obvious.

Just be honest in your description and you'll get along fine.
