Me too. I can screw up spell check. The other is: I will run down to the store. It's only 5 miles away. My hot water heater, intead of water heater, I'll tell you what, that's a complete sentences in Texas. Being I am dyslexia really helps too. Like the news. It's coming up nexts, or we will be right back. They forgot the 5 minute commercials.

Grammar Nazi.....I remember, and might be the case still, but one calls a "magazine" a "clip" and everyone loses their minds! Lol
So I repeatedly see "caliber" used for "cartridge" and "accuracy" just plainly misused. For example:
Someone asking what caliber a gun is, or what caliber they should get. Really, caliber is only the diameter size of the bullet. Cartridge is the word they're supposed to use, as it encompasses both bullet size and brass dimensions.
"I'm gonna switch calibers to something other than 308 WIN, so I'll go 300 PRC". Same caliber, but different cartridge is the right speak.
Accuracy…No gun is inherently accurate. That would mean straight out the box it would hit bullseye every shot. However, some can be precise out of the box. As in "Precision". It could be a group POI two feet from the bullseye, but a small group through the same hole. The "accuracy" depends upon the skills of the shooter to put that one hole group in the bullseye.
Just my thoughts on the matter.

In other languages, their is "high" form and "low" form. It was a way to differentiate between ladies and gentlemen and peasants. It was common in Europe, and it was very important how you spoke. Here in America, we're devolving to the lowest common denominator. We get tattoos like the savages from the jungles 200 years ago, dress like prisoners, and talk like rappers.
I know the difference between clip and magazine, and still call them clips.
"Return it back", and "Where you at" are the ones that bug me. I think I was taught that you never end a sentence with a preposition. Even the news announcers get it wrong. Remember "Winston tastes good like a cigarette should"? I believe it should have been "as a cigarette should". Now, everyone is "like this isn't like really important like". I had an in-law who was a teacher, and spoke terrible English. No hope for her students.
Good English still differentiates between the elite and the peasants. Lately, I'm often on the side of the peasants, but I still try to speak good English.
Some of the posts on this forum are unreadable. No idea what they are talking about.
