What's the most beginner user friendly primer pocket uniformity tool?

I have the rcbs case prep center, should I go with that one or a different brand or should I go by hand?

Take a look at the K & M primer pocket uniformer. I got one about 5 weeks ago and really like it. I have a speed adjustable frill mounted to my loading table so, this works perfect for me.

+ 1 on the K&M. It has a broader face than most and is very good @ centering the tool in primer pocket. A word of caution-------NEVER turn any uniformer brand tool until bit is in pocket, whether turning by hand or with low speed drill. Same goes for removal, STOP turning on way out, these tools are only for uniforming depth. You don't want the carbide cutter removing any material from diameter of primer pocket. It is imperative to keep tool free of brass fragments, so I remove tool and run it over a brush prior to inserting it back into pocket. Tap case free of shavings. I usually go in and out 3-4 times on new brass, cleaning by running bit back and forth over bench mounted soft bristle brush. I went into detail on the OP's question, because I watched a guy butcher his primer pockets using a case prep center mounted pocket uniformer running continually. He tore up pocket chamfer and walls as he tried to place case on rotating bit. Hope this helps someone do it properly.

So you say you have the RCBS case prep Center?

Are you asking if you should use it or get something else?
