today i mounted my new vortex viper PST 6-24x50 on my 7mm mag. i took it out and shot at the bottom of a vertical line and raised the scope 20 MOA and shot again... she was perfect, 20 moa up and exact same distance from the line (i used some noslers instead of my precious berger vld's which are in short supply. that is why my windage was about 1.5" off my sight zero)
i couldn't have done that twice if i tried!
