Good morning all
I'm tinkering with a 22 creedmoor build:
Curtis Axium 3 lug (smoothest action I've ever felt) Jewel trigger, Kreiger 1/8 24" lil bturd brake. Chambered and threaded by Baron @Total Precision Rifleworks The pic of group is 77 grain Berger OTM 39 grains of H4350. Didn't get the speed I'm after but extremely accurate!
Now I'm trying out Berger 73 grain Boat tail target. Haven't hit paper with them but just looking for pressure. I got beautiful speed this morning with H4350: 40.5 grain @ 3583
and 41 grains @ 3668 . Do any of you folks that have much more knowledge than I see any pressure issues besides the mild primer craeter? I'm afraid that axiom is so smooth I may miss something. With those loads I can still open the bolt with my trigger finger on the trigger guard and use just my thumb to cock and open bolt like glass on glass. I'll put 3 on paper while waiting on you folks ideas and comments. This build was only to get me above 3500 with 70-80 class bullets. Thanks for your comments in advance!

Primers look fine to me. Crater in the center with rounded edges just means you have a generous firing pin hole.
Ok I always assumed that was first pressure clue although the primer edge bevel is still there. It still groups minute of woodchuck at 105 Yardswith coffee making the crosshair do some nasty jumping! Here's 5 shots at 105 3660 and sd of 11 FPS! Using Peterson LRP brass Berger 73 bthp CCI Br2 41 grains of H4350. Loaded 5 rounds sd weight was .2 grains which impressed me.

I think it would be questionable if the effort was worth it to try and make it do any better. It looks like a little laser beam right now. What do you think barrel life will be like? If it wasn't way way way too fast for the rules and me thinking barrel life would be not much more than 1000rds I'd be all about that in PRS.

Prolly too fast I don't see where barrel life will be an issue for me on chucks yotes and deer. In all reality I'll probably get bored and rebarrel or sell it long before 1000 rounds. I am thoroughly impressed with that action tho!

I am hit and miss on pressure in my 22 creed. I am running a 85.5 gr Berger at 3300 with RL26. 1/4 Moa accuracy. As long as you don't blow your primer pockets out I think you're okay.

I run 85.5 in my Remington action 24" criterion 1/7 and was in the neighborhood of 33-3400 using 40 grains of H4350 and hornady brass. I Switched to Peterson with same load and blew the primer out. Backed it down to 39 and it keeps the brass together. I haven't put that cmoor across the crono yet yo see what I lost with changing brass.

I use alpha

I use necked down Starline 6mm CM brass with mine. My go to load for 75 gr Amax & ELD-M bullets is 43.2 gr of H4350. It's right on the edge of pressure, but it sure shoots good. I'm getting 3489 fps avg out of a 20" X-caliber 1-7 twist barrel.
5 shots at 100 yards-
