I've got a question and sure you guys can help me out. I went on my first Wyoming antelope hunt last year. We met a really nice rancher who told us if we could draw for his area we could hunt his land, now here's my question I put in for his area this year but didn't get drawn so does that give me a preference point or do you have to buy them?

If you paid the additional $30.00 when you submitted your application to get a preference point you would have been awarded one. But if you did not AND did not draw your first choice hunt code you can go on-line and purchase one that can be used in next years drawing. The deadline is 30 September 2013.

You have to buy them, you have till the end of Sept. and the cost is $30.00 if memory serves.
