Isn't that the truth. I want to find some H1000 to start reloading for a 300 WM, but that isn't going I to happen anytime soon. Unless I go on GunBroker and pay $150 for an already opened pound containerH1000 near that meteor
Now that is bragging rights. Haven't seen H1000 locally in a yearLocal backwoods gun shop in southwest Pa. I got 5 lbs of H1000, 3 lbs of RL26, and 2 lbs of RL 17 the other day.
I'd be willing to pay a man and drive 9 hours!!Scheels in Springfield, IL had 19lbs of Retumbo this past week. Primers are hit or miss but have landed a few thousand.
They also own RCBSThe Alliant shotgun powders that I have (20/28, 410, Herco) are American made.
Alliant's Reloader rifle powders are made in Sweden. Alliant is owned by Vista Outdoor who also owns Speer, Federal, CCI, and now Remington's ammunition business.
How close are you to Washington, PA?I have feelers out everywhere like everyone else. I hardly ever go to this shop because it's out of the way for me. I figure I might as well stop in just to see what they have. Hardly any guns, or bullets. No primers. Had some oddball ammo that no one uses. They just got a shipment of powder in. The guy said he only got about an 8th of what he ordered for powder. I got what was left on the shelf. I got enough powder now to try out my new Christmas present. A RPR 338 LM with a S&B scope.
I'm in ga if u want ill let u know when some is available what powder do you need they have about everything you would need on the broker but its going for stupid money 750.00 per 8lb jugI'd be willing to pay a man and drive 9 hours!!
