Powder Info/ VihtaVuori Powder N165

Also look for 4000MR it's an overlooked one that gives top speeds with 140 and heavier bullets and is actually not very temperature sensitive at all.
There is load data in the new Speer Manual for it as well.
I have been using it for a couple years now.

Thank you for the heads up. One has to always be looking for other types just to stay ahead of the game.

I meant on the burn rate chart. 4000MR is near N540. Some bit faster burn rate than 4350
You must be looking at Hodgdon chart I am guessing...what can I say except it's way off on that powder. Look at Westerns or others but the easy way is look at max charges for 4350 versus 4000MR.
4000MR will be higher because it's slower burning. Also that's another reason to never load off burn rate charts because they vary.
Here is for 6.5 Creedmoor from Speer Manual

When working up a load. I generally look at several charts to get comparisons of what powder being used and what bullets that are being used. Not all manuals show the same thing, and yes there bullets are somewhat different.

I have used 4000MR for years and it is roughly comparable to RL19 burn rate. Outstanding results in .243W with 87's-105's, .300W with 178's and now a 3 shot clover leaf with 6mm-06 & 87 V-Max® - 52 gr., just under 3,500 fps. Worth a try in the 6.5CM. Relatively dense should give close to 100% fill with 130's & 140's.
