I received a pre-fit last week from Preferred Barrel Blank. I bore scoped it and found it to be as good as any barrel I've looked through. The bore measures .2999-.3000" as near as i can measure with my reamer pilots. Can't wait to spin it on and give it a whirl.
Best communication I've ever had with any gun related company.
Anyone running one of their rifle barrels?

Is that a little tight for a .338?

Sorry I was just making a joke about it being 0.2999-.3000 bore since you didn't post the caliber in your post. Thats for a .308 grove.

0.3299 (0.3300 bore) is right there with a .338 grove size.

I have two do their steel and one of their carbons. Haven't shot the carbon yet but the steel have been great. Clean easy, easy to load for and both are very accurate.

Are they lapping the barrels now? Can you post some pictures of the chamber and bore please?

My carbon hasn't been fired yet, maybe I will buy a borescope and send pics. I have needed a bore scope anyway
