Walking down a ridge line and looked down in the canyon and there was a pack running all over. Got the .300 win mag set up and ranged the carcass they were on to 781 yards. Set the dope added wind and waited for one to sit still long enough to break the trigger. I changed targets probably 4 time and was squeezing on a couple of them. This one sat still for a whopping probably 3 seconds and she dropped. The rest took off into the hills and started howling. The rest were gone before I could eject that brass. I was amazed at how active they were. They would not sit still.
