I have a Horus Raptor though mine has the H59 (similar to the H25) reticle. I like the concept of the Horus reticles. It's the only precision aiming system which does not require knob twiddling with each shot.
if you want fast precise shots based on calculated measurements or lookup tables the Horus reticle is a good choice. I don't recommend it for fixed distance target shooting or for short range shooting where drop and windage holdoffs are determined by estimation (guess). It's advantage over target knobs is setup speed. The only place I think target knobs have an advantage is in low light where knobs can be set by feel. You have to be able to read the Horus reticle to use it. If the impact point of a shot can be seen the Horus reticle is better than any other system I'm aware of for making second shot corrections.
The Horus Raptor is a 16" long 27oz aluminum scope. It's made in Japan and I'd rate it's quality similar to other Japanese higher end scopes like Burris or Sightron. I've had no problem with the Raptor optically or mechanically. The reticle is "busy" but it's not confusing. That's the price you pay not to have to twiddle target knobs. I also have a Horus Falcon with the H37 reticle. For practical hunting distances I'd recommend the Raptor mostly because it's lighter and less expensive.
