I am looking to get a nice scope on my squirrel gun. It is a CZ 455 suppressor ready .22lr. Currently have a 3-9x40 Nikon Pro Staff but I want to get a really nice scope for it. Looking to keep it light weight and basic. Just good clear glass for squirrel hunting in the shadows of tree tops. Not really sure on price. Maybe around $600-$800.
I know this is a long range forum but you guys know good glass.
Browsed Cabelas and saw the following:
$779 Swarovski Z3 3-9x36
$879 Swarovski Z3 3-10x42
$700 Leupold VX-5HD 2-10x42
What else is there for quality scopes? Not apposed to spending less on a good scope as it is just a squirrel gun however I do want good glass. Otherwise i will just keep the Nikon on it.
