H4350 and for heavier Bullets H1000

Disclaimer, I gave up on long range hunting but I still enjoy reloading/shooting a ton. So... I tried the same experiment a few years ago for 223 rem, 243 win, 308 win and 300wsm. I settled on IMR 4166. I had to be flexible on my bullet choice, especially for the 300wsm. 175's are the heaviest bullet listed in the load data, so I looked at the longer all copper bullets to help fill the case. I have stopped buying so many different powders and don't worry about putting the wrong powder in the hopper anymore :)

Kinda preachy, but I like it. Since I am not as smart as Orange Dust my fist thought was H4350 for my 8mm wildcat (which exist only as two dumby cartridges at this time) and Retumbo for my 6.5 wildcat.
Please,Not trying to be preachy at all. I said that's what "I" would do, Not telling the OP to do that. Just trying to share experience of what I think I know, have learned, and has worked out for me. Hoping it will work out for others too. Attitude is very difficult for me in text. I'm better at it in person. Really sorry if it came off that way.

Personally I like to use all sorts of powder; looking for that unicorn load. here's one of my favourite storage units.

H4350 and retumbo, now alot of folks are going say h1000 instead of retumbo, but when I find H1000 to be touchy, I go to retumbo and problems solved. That 264 win mag should love retumbo also, as I have heard many people say their 264 wm preferred retumbo over h1000.

I would only use 1 powder for all of these loads; IMR 4350. I would also suggest that you bookmark Nosler's Load Data for reloading. All of the reloading manufacturers have a reloading site with charts for powders, bullets, minimum-maximum charges. Some even provide best performance powders, as in your case the IMR4350 was best in most of the calibers you listed. Iuse the 4350 in my Weatherby 340 and Ruger 375 and Browning BAR 243. Several other calibers I use IMR4064. It can also be used in the 340 and 375, but the 4350 has better performance. The 2 reloading charts i mostly use are the Nosler Load Data and Hodgdon reloading data (hodgdonreloading.com). Check them out. I've been reloading for over 50 years.
