Thought I'd start a thread just to show/drool over some old eye candy.

I'll start. Not long range related anymore, but would have been back when it was born in 1883. Model 1873 44-40. I picked this up about 10-12 years ago. I had it gone over by a collector and all sent pics to Burt at the Cody Museum. It letters in configuration. I wish I knew more about the stamped numbers on the stocks. Burt said they are rack numbers and most likely was part of law enforcement inventory. Original finish. Can still see case colors on hammer, lever, and butt plate.

So if you feel like sharing, what do you got?
