Are there many people that collect old ammo or bullet boxes. I noticed that Ebay has many of these listed for sale and wondered if there really is a market for them.

There are some serious collectors. Boxes either full or empty and also individual cartridges. I see them at gun shows and flea markets all the time.
There are also directories of box pictures with dates of use.

This Federal box is what started my curiosity, I was going to toss it out. Still has a few unfired rounds and some fired. Anyone know about how old it is?

The Winchester.22 mag is full and has a Ft Hood exchange sticker for $1.90

I have a friend here in Michigan who has a ton of old obscure ammo boxes and lever guns on display in his cabin he generally gets them from estate sales or auctions but is always checking online for them whenever he can to get more he's not the only one that I've seen over the years looking for old ammo boxes so I would assume so
