NM Unit 34 Late Season Archery Elk

Anyone have any advice on where to hunt elk during the late season hunt in 34 that's December 14-18? I'M interested in purchasing the tag if I can find somewhere that will give me a legitimate chance of harvesting a bull.

There are elk all over that unit. If there is no snow, they may be high or low. I would look more toward the south end of the unit, but they are spread throughout. You might ask a Game Warden for general areas.
