I went scouting in unit 15 last week, bulls were starting to fire up, I'll be hunting next week for 3rd season archery. Met a couple young men in the Air Force at the bar in Reserve, 19 year old shot his first animal ever with a bow, just happened to do it in one of the best units anywhere. little raghorn but seeing how excited he was and retelling the story after a couple beers made me more excited for him than I think I'll be for myself if I am lucky enough to score on one next week. He was in 16A and him and his buddy said they were covered in Elk everyday. Wondering how everybody else is doing in the area?
