We were out near Diamond Creek & Trails' End. Just the one bull tag. But we all had a lovely time on our glorified nature hike! We saw two different guides pull out, but decided it wasn't worth the hassle of moving. Too bad we couldn't talk the bull down that was camped over our trailer. I've convinced myself he was old & wouldn't taste good anyway. Either that or he was very young stupid for staying there. No comments on my hunting abilities though.
Elk hunting seems a bit more addictive than deer. I like it! Maybe next year I'll run into you.
