No worries, I got the same Alaskan version of android spell check on my phone too.Ugh! I should have carefully read what I posted before hitting "Post"! My writing looks like I'm high on something. I tried to edit, but all it would let me do is edit the title.
"should" should be shroud.
"titaniu" should be titanium.

Wouldn't you know, I don't like having cartridges other people have, like the .30'06, they are like Chevy's and bottoms; everybody has one. So...I sent mine to Brockman to have his complete massage including the PT&G finishing reamer with a tightened neck), the great Jack Atkinson told me "put a handfull of H-414 in it", I did, to get 2598fps over 10 rounds with only 57k psi and the 300 grain Sierra SBT's overlap using an early Meopta scope that still had the ranging bars out to 800 yards based on 1.75m (the height of an Eastern European Male), these reticles were banned soon after that. All this in 1996 and dammit, Weatherby brought it back four months later. I was ****ed. I went back to using my 1909 Argentine. As most of us are "high" on something……some may suggest "high on life". I'm certain that most didn't notice or cared about the little mistakes….we've all "been there-done that"!
Without further ado…….Welcome from North Central Wyoming!
Oh, another comment……I highly approve of your .375 Weatherby, a sweet little cartridge! Admittedly……I'm a bit biased toward .375's! memtb
When you folks coming over? The hunting in the Yukon is stupendous!Welcome from Alberta Canada! Get a good coffee and sit back and relax!!
Lived in Belcross, N. C. from 1966 to 1975 when my dad, an aviator in the USCG retired from USCG Base Elizabeth City in June of 1975. Then we moved back to Alaska.Welcome from North Carolina

It doesn't recoil that much, really is a laser, and I dearly love it caught four moose so far.
I picked up a .378 Weatherby of GB for $800 + shipping! No lie, I thought it had to be a typo because the usual buy-in for a used .378 is between $1500 (rough) to $2200 (pretty nice). I bid $1000 on it but no other bidders and won it. It's another shooter, but the barrel had been cut to 24 1/2" to make the muzzle noise-maker more effective, which it is about on the .243 W level, serious. But this hampers velocity. I have a 34" Brux Cro-Mo 1-11 twist barrel with the first five inches cylinderical 1.250" then tapering to 0.900". I know the gunsmith will chop 1.5" or so from the breech end, and I'll have them take 1" from the muzzle and slim it down. I am looking for a 28" finished with rounding off the target taper to a Weatherby with the muzzle about .875", and rifle sights just in case and that gorgeous Weatherby polish and wet-looking bluing. It came with a 3x9 Weatherby scope on it. So later this summer once done it should be excellent. Heavy, but excellent. Aaaannndd another PT&G finish reamer with a straight .403 neck. I'll turn the case necks just about 25% to get any high spots. I simply cannot help myself when I read about this long range shooting (I even subscribe to Precision Shooting years ago!), I am seriously manic, I cannot help it, and embrace the nerdish.
My women friends think I have a serious mental disability.
Go ahead…admit it. You have a Creed in your…..closet. lol.Do not feel threatenedby my loving the .375's…I have an H&H and a AI in moderately lightweight, semi-custom package.
So……I'm not encroaching on your wanting to have something a bit different than the impressionable sheep following the latest and greatest new fad!memtb
