New trigger

I started my 7 build with a timney flat trigger and have moved to a trigger tech special now. even after adjusting the timney as light and with the minimal safe sear contact the trigger tech feels better to me. timney shoe is flat and large and I liked the smaller curved shoe of the TT

It will be a Primary if I go with the Trigger Tech. They only offer the Primary and Special in the Model Seven. I know i can make a 700 Trigger work but im not dicking around with it. I want a two pin drop in with an improved pull. This is a PA deer rifle, it's cold here and I'll be wearing gloves. It will probably be set between 2.5 and 3 pounds for a safety margin with heavy gloves. I just want it crisp with minimal movement during and after the trigger squeeze.

I changed to TriggerTech sometime back in my Model 700 Rem Actions, which I changed too because of TriggerTech. ( sure a lot of changing 🤣) I generally put some type of trigger in my rifles. Tried the TriggerTech haven't found anything better. Just wish they would make them for other action. They are missing the boat.

I would say the Special over a Primary if you don't want to spend the money for a Diamond. Timney's have gone up in price so a TT Special is not a bad choice. I have several Timneys that work just fine, but not as good as TT.
