I joined to further familiarize myself with hunting type long guns rather than tacticool sorts of weapons. My experience with any one rifle is somewhat minimal to this point but having used several rifle models and calibers of friends over the past couple years I purchased my first a month or so ago. I purchased a Howa Hogue Gameking combo in 270 Winchester. I'd like to think I am working (but maybe it is dreaming) towards some potential hunting trips to Wyoming for antelope, Arizona or NM for elk, or the US southeast for deer and hog.
