Yeah.
Looks like the double based ball "StaBall HD" may be formulated for the short fat cases and magnums.

As awesome as RL26 is, it can get a little sideways when the temps go up. It would be great to have a temp insensitive powder that gives the speeds that 26 does AND is available.

I bought a few pounds to try. 7mm prc barrel is on the way. Plus a few others to try this powder in.

The limited amount of data on the Hodgdon site looks promising. Time will tell. If the HD data runs true, it certainly seems like good speed and stability for magnum cartridges.

Trying out Staball HD this weekend in 300prc with 212 gr eld-x and 210gr ABLR. Will post results.

I just got done loading up 220gr NCCs in 300 PRC and 162 ELD-X in 7 Rem Mag.
