I've been big game hunting most of my life, primarily in Pennsylvania and Maryland. As a 24 year veteran of the Marine Corps, and still serving, I spend a lot of time around firearms. I've joined this site to get tips and advice on long range shooting/hunting. My current rifle of choice, a Browning X-Bolt Hunter .300 win mag topped with a Leupold 4.5-14x50 Mark 4 LRT scope, is allowing me to put in a 6" group at 700 yards but I want to shoot better. Having recently moved to the southwest, my hunting may require longer range shots than I've ever taken before. So I'm here to learn, share, and interact. Thanks for having me.
