Hey everyone, I stumbled upon this site some time ago and didn't make an account until recently. I have a Rem700 sps varmint .223 and recently picked up a savage 110 chambered in 7mm rem mag. The plans are to rebarrel the savage with a longer heavier barrel (the factory barrel is like a toothpick lol and looks to be around 22") whenever funds are available. My rem700 sits in a Choate varmint stock and is topped with a Nikon Prostaff 4-12x BDC (for the price I don't think there is a better scope...plan on getting a pair of vortex's whenever the savage goes under the knife).
Trying to find some public land or connections to hunt hogs down preferably in NC but travel fairly regularly to SC as well. The majority of my shooting is at steel or groundhogs whenever I get the chance. My .223 loves the 55gr VMAX bullets!
