Hello everyone, just found this forum while doing some research for my Winchester M70 .300 WSM. I put a stockys laminated thumbhole stock on it a few years back (blind floorplate) that has since cracked under the mag well. So I bought a 1 piece hinged floorplate from PTG and I am looking to drill out the stock for that and bed the action and maybe the barrel.
I am mostly a bowhunter but I have also been a gun owner most of my life and have recently gotten the itch to start shooting a bit further out. Mainly just for target shooting for now, work up to an antelope hunt or something.
