New "Gather" format

So, I gotta be honest, it may be just a matter of getting accustomed to it, but right now, I'm not a huge fan of the new format. Doesn't take one directly to a "new post" submitted on a topic and just seems more difficult to navigate over all.

Do we need to switch to Gather. I have noticed that I keep getting security issues and pages won't load up. Is this mandatory?

I'll continue using the online web page, I'm tired of downloading yet another app. Web page still works great!

Is Gather just for use on phones! I'm one of the very very rare few that uses a phone for its intended purposes....making phone calls only.

I may be even more rare, I have one, much to my disdain, and only use it or carry it when away from home……unlike my handgun often carried always close! memtb

No, I downloaded it on my tablet. But wasn't enamored with it.

If they have an iMac version I will try it. If not might have to delete my account, too many issues logging in posting and other things that I have to repeat the process several times.

I put it on my phone but deleted it a couple days later. To much crap on there
