Excessive advertising? We have fewer ads now, than previous.
We are still working on the upgrade and tweaking.

If you'd prefer a fewer ads in general, we offer a supporting membership to continue to run the site.

I agree, why mess with what was working well, but at the same time I haven't run into any situations on the new site where I couldn't do something or find something that was on the old site. It's obviously early, but I think folks are just rustled because of change. Give it a week. It's a web forum template, they all work fine.

Also I see not one single ad anywhere on this site, but I'm heavily adblocked at the browser level and DNS level.

I personally like it! Easier to search keywords in classifieds/sub forums, you can now edit your for sale ad titles...win win!

We attempt to keep the site updated for security. So sometimes change is required. We were running on software that was written almost 8 years ago.
Unfortunately software unlike a classic car, does not get better with age.

Change is always difficult, but I thank you for having the patience as we work through it.
