Just did a quick load development with the 175 gr ELD-x and imr-7828. Figured this would be about as heavy as anyone would want to shoot in this rifle. Found out the magazines need some mods to feed the 280 AI, got that worked out. Hit 2900 fps pretty comfortably. Many powders in this burn rate will work great so pretty flexible and again, about as heavy as we would want to use in a 280 AI but very respectable velocity for sub 60 gr powder charge!
